As the many patients he helped are aware, Dr Hurwitz was an exceptional doctor and human being.  He worked in our office for about 15 years, seeing patients with complicated eyelid and orbital surgery problems.  He was universally well-liked and a valued member of our group.  He passed away suddenly in February 2022.  If you are interested in contributing to the University of Toronto’s Ophthalmology and Vision Sciences award in honour of Dr Jeff Hurwitz, please click here.
